Larry Glazebrook, 66, of Slaugthers, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Allen Glazebrook of Evansville, IN and Andre Michael Glazebrook of Providence; one daughter, Bethany Michelle Glazebrook of Henderson; one brother, Steve McDonald of Evansville, IN; ine sister, Linda McDonald Bippus of Texas; six grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughter-Hanson Chapel with Bro. Garry Dock officiating.   
Burial will be in Zion Brick Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday. Full military rites will be conducted by the Hopkins County Honor Guard at the graveside.

Edna Ilene Mitchell
Edna Ilene Mitchell, 91, of formerly of 806 Princeton St. Providence, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Colonial Oaks Memory Care Assisted Living in Houston, TX, near her son.
A native of Providence, Mrs. Mitchell was born October 1, 1922. She was a homemaker who enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. For many years she owned a lake-side trailer where she hosted family and friends, especially her grandson. She was terrific at crossword puzzles and was hard to beat at board games. In the years after her husband’s death in 1975, she began traveling extensively and looked forwar to cruising and seeing the new ships and ports of call. 
She is survived by one son, Jerry Mitchell of Houston, TX.
Private funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2014 at Jones-Erdman Funeral Home in Providence.    paid

She is survived by two sons, Bill Lykins of Sebree and Danny Lykins of Beech Grove; two sisters, Cecilia “Cis” Wright of Loveland, OH and Bonnie Mason of Henderson; one brother, Billie Lou Edwards of Henderson; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Bro. Johnny McCurry officiating.   
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Jerry D. Stone, Sr., 69, of Dixon, died Friday, March 21, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sharon Jenkins Stone; one daughter, Tina M. Baxter of Owensboro; two sons, Jerry D. Stone, Jr. of Henderson and Chris M. Stone of Clay; one sister, Deanne Short of Robards; three brothers, Deloais Stone of Henderson, Jackie Stone of Anthoston and Barry Stone of Dixon; 11 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Poole Missionary Baptist Church in Poole with the Rev. David Mabrey officiating.    
Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole.

David Allen Ayers, 62, of Nebo, died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at his home.
He is survived by one son, Jesse Allen Ayers of Henderson; one daughter, Shannon Dame of Nebo; two brothers, Bobby Ayers of Nebo and Larry Ayers of Dalton; two sisters, Jessie Evans and Connie Puckett both of Nebo; three grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014 at Jones and Erdman Funeral Home in Providence.    
Burial was in Johnson Island Cemetery in Hopkins County.

James Crowell, 83, of Providence, died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at West Kentucky Veterans Center in Madisonville.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Wilma Crowell; five sons, James Crowell of Nebo, Ben Crowell of Theodore, AL, Steven Crowell and Stacey Crowell both of Huntsville, AL, and Jamie Crowell of Madisonville; seven sisters, Sue Lofton, Prue Malone, Ruby Harrison, Mary Lou Winebarger, Wanda Hughes, Dixie McWorthy and Joyce Barnhill; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Jones and Erdman Funeral Home in Providence.    
Burial was in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Hopkinsville.

Jo Ann Mizell
Jo Ann Mizell, 77, of Providence, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in the home of her family with them at her side.
She was a member of Waggoner General Baptist  Church in Webster County. She enjoyed bowling and became an instructor/coach of the junior league. She enjoyed writing and wrote articles for the newspaper, sometimes poetry, just because. 
She also enjoyed playing pinochle with her family. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor and beautiful spirit. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing in church. She had an unconditional love for her children and her family. She greatly missed her husband, most of all she loved and was eternally devoted to the good Lord above. She will be missed.
She leaves behind a daughter who will forever keep her in her heart. She was the wife of the late Carroll W. Mizell, also preceded by a daughter Cheryl May, a son Kyle Mizell, a sister Margie Williams, and a brother C.W. Pharris. 
She is survived by her daughter Shel Davidson and her husband Jim of Boca Raton, FL; one stepson Karl Skeens and his wife Susan of Gresham, Oregon; three sisters, Mildred McClain and Thelma Nichols both from Dixon, and Mary Lou Davis of Evansville, IN; one brother, Homer “Junior” Pharris of Crofton; two granddaughters Rachel Hogan of Georgia and Paige Lucas of Virginia; one grandson Stephen May and wife Amanda of Alabama; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon with Bro. Darrell Dukes and Bro. Carl Hoover officiating.
Burial was in King Cemetery in Liberty.
 Pallbearers were Kevin Cole, Jeff Williams, Eric Pharris, Mark McClain, Aron McClain and Denzil Davis and Honorary Pallbearer Wayne Jones.

Donald Eugene Stone, 74, of Poole, formerly of Dixon, died Monday, March 17, 2014 at Redbanks Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree.
He was a carpenter and had worked at the Earle C. Clement Job Corp. in Morganfield. He was a member of Lakeview Missionary Baptist church in Dixon and a member of the Dixon Masonic Lodge #911.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Veston Eugene and Erna Bell Hearin Stone, his son Don Jerome Stone and two sister, Louise Calabaro and Georgia Thornberry.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Dacy Stone; one son, Mark B. Stone and his wife, Mindy of Boxville; sto sister, Frances Lockridge of Clemson, NC and Jean Clay Barnes of Henderson; one grandson, Veston Eugene Stone; three step-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon with the Rev. Raymond Addott and the Rev. Selby Coomer officiating.   
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Dixon.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Wallen Jobe Winstead; two sons, Jerry Don Winstead of Dixon and Robert Daniel Winstead of Slaughters; one brother, Jack Alan Winstead of Centennial, CO; his caretaker, Michelle Goodwin; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; three nieces.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Buchanan; two daughters, Sherri Clements of Waverly and Anita Ressett of Dixon; one son, Paul Buchanan of New Roads, LA; 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Peaugh; two sons, Matt Peaugh and Glenn Peaugh; one daughter, Sara Brown; three brothers, George Peaugh, Gilbert Peaugh, and Randall Peaugh; two sisters, Mary Hedges and Linda Bush; eight grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Todd; two sons, Greg Todd and his wife, Christy of Birmingham, AL, and Jeff Todd of Providence; two brothers, Ken Johnson and his wife Barbara of Bowling Green and Bob Johnson and his wife, Sarah of Madisonville; four grandchildren.

He is survived by four sons, Bobby Simms and Darrell Simms both of Providence, Terry Simms of Manitou and Billy Simms of Sebree; two daughters, Peggy Rine of Princeton and Doris Simms of Henderson; one brother, Cecil Simms of Providence; one sister, Jewell Jones of Madisonville; nine granchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 at Jones & Erdman Funeral Home in Providence.

Homer Brown, Jr., 88, of Lisman, died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Cypress Grove in Newburgh, IN.
He has worked as an electrician and worked at Earl C. Clement Job Corp. in Morganfield and was of Christian faith. He was a WWII Army Veteran having served in the Douth Pacific, Phillipines and Japan. He was a member of the Dixon Masonic Lodge #911, where he served has past Master. He was also a past member of the Scottish Rite in Madisonille. He was a member of the VGW Post #5484 in Providence and had served as past Commander, also a member of the order of the Eastern Star Ermine Ford #9 in Poole.
He love gardening and selling his vegetables from his garden.
He was preceded in death by his father, Home Brown, Sr. and his mother, Oma Leah Winters, a sister,  Barbara Schoenheit.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Emma Hill Brown; his step-mother, June Brown of Providence; one daughter, Rita Childers and her husband, Duane of Lisman; two sons, Jim Brown and his wife, Kim of Henderson and Thomas Davenport and his wife, Sherry of Kuttawa; three sisters, Nancy Brown of Henderson, Jennifer Main of Louisville and Ruthie Winebarger of Providence; six brothers, Gary Don Brown of Louisville, Ricky Main, Chris Brown, Robert Brown and Joe Brown all of Dixon, and Homer Main of Clay; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon with the Rev. David Parker officiating.   
Burial was in Slover Cemetery in Dixon.
Masonic services were conducted at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and military services were conducted graveside by the VFW Post #5484 of Providence.

He is survived by one daughter, Kristy Michelle (Eastwood) Southard of Bristol, VA; one step-daughter, Kim Abner of Bristol, TN; two step-sons, Jeff “Bo” Abner of London, KY and Greg Abner of Bristol, TN; one grandson, and several step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.   
Burial was in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree with full military rites performed by the American Legion Worsham Post #30 of Henderson.

Tena Louise Gaither
Tena Louise Gaither was born October 3, 1967 in Providence, Kentucky to Rosie Gaither and Torris Powell. We are comforted in knowing that Tena accepted Christ at a young age and is now with our Heavenly Father. She completed her journey here on earth on Friday, March 7, 2014. 
Tena’s education began at Dr. Howard Elementary School. Her education continued at Marquette School and Centennial HS in Champaign, Illinois where she has lived most of her life. 
In 1998, Tena was baptized under the guidance of Pastor Raymond Winfrey. In her earlier years, Tena was a member of Powerhouse GOGIC under the pastorate of the late, Elder R. W. Rucker where she enjoyed singing in the choir. 
Tena will be remembered for giving hugs, her love of music and her passion for puzzles. Often time, you would see Tena wearing her headphones, listening to her music while fixing her puzzles. She would enjoy her favorite gospel songs. Aside from her music, nothing compared to the love she had for her mother. Tena was very protective of those she loved. 
Tena is preceded in death by her grandparents: Ray Gaither Sr., Forris Powell Sr., Effie Powell; and her brothers: Daryl Lee Powell and Torris Powell Jr. 
Tena leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Torris (Mary) Powell and Rosie Gaither; one sister, Lyvonda (Percy) Gaither; three brothers: Ron Gaither, Terry Powell, and Demetrius Powell; her grandmother, Ruthie Gaither; and a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. 
Services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1 pm at Simpson Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Providence, KY with visitation from 11 am until service time. Burial in Cumberland Hills Cemetery in Providence, KY. Mason and Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.                           paid

He is survived by one daughter, Maylie Myers of Boxville; two sons, Ashton Myers and Koby Tate both of Boxville; his mother, Diane Hogan of Boxville; grandmother, Edna Rigdon of Dixon; four sisters, Elaine Hogan of Henderson, Victoria Hogan and Laurie Cowan both of Morganfield and Jessica Hogan of Boonville, IN; two brothers, Larry Hogan and Raymond Hogan both of Henderson; four nephews, one niece and one great-nephew.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield with the Rev. Raymond Hogan officiating.   
Burial will be in Boxville Cemetery in Boxville.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
