Benny Clay Winstead, 84, of Dixon, died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at his home.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Wallen Jobe Winstead; two sons, Jerry Don Winstead of Dixon and Robert Daniel Winstead of Slaughters; one brother, Jack Alan Winstead of Centennial, CO; his caretaker, Michelle Goodwin; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; three nieces.

Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home with the Rev. Kerry Smith and the Rev. Ellis Payne officiating.   

Burial was in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon.
