Loyce Dunbar, 81, of Providence, died Monday, April 14, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
She is survived by two daughters, Debra Snyder of Kokomo, IN, and Rhonda Smith of Noblesville, IN; one sister, Doris Vaughn of Providence; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 at Jones and Erdman Funeral Home.   
Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Steven Arnold Frederick, Sr., 49, of Henderson, died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Andrea Tapp Frederick; one daughter, Cassie Frederick of Henderson; one son, Steven Frederick, Jr., of Henderson; four sisters, Brenda Slaughter and Cynthia Tillotson both of Henderson, Rebecca Jones and Angie Anderson both of Cairo; two brothers, Earl Frederick, Jr. of Clarksville, TN and Michael Frederick of Robards; one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.  
A life celebration will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at Henderson Church of God on the corner of Clay and Meadows St. in Henderson with the Rev. Terry McPherson officiating.  
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Hearrin; three daughters, Kathy Hearrin, Delores Hearrin and Nancy Parker; one brother, Billy Don Hearrin; one sister, Portia Faye Jones; 13 grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 with Bro. Barry Cullen officiating.   
Burial was in White Oak Cemetery near Clay.
Jones and Erdman Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Ellen Atwell Wood, 87, of Clay, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at VNA Plus Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville, IN.
She is survived by one daughter, Bridget Hasler of Newburgh, IN; one son, Bruce Wood of Byron, GA; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Blackford with Bro. Dale Williams and Bro. Paul Stone officiating.   
Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Blackford.
Vanover Funeral Home in Clay was in charge of the arrangements.

Katie Catherine Heady, 76, of Blackford, died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at her home in Blackford.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Marshall Heady; two daughters, Tammy Rich of Uniontown and Vickie Pritchett of Clay; two sons, Mark Heady of Blackford and Richard Heady of Clay; one sister, Virginia Shields of Marion; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several niece and nephews.
Services were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. James Fulton officiating.   
Burial was in Blackford Cemetery.

Don T. Brewer, 74, of Sebree, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at his residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.
He is survived by two daughters, Robin Dillon of Sebree and Amanda Brewer of Michigan; one adopted daughter, Debra Carroll of North Vernon, IN; one step-son, Daryl Golden of Nortonville; two step-daughters, Kim and Paula of North Vernon, IN; two brothers, Cecil Brewer of Corbin and Harold Brewer of Barbersville; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Sassafras Grove Church.

Wilma Jean Adams, 75, of Providence, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
She was a member of Gum Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Adams and a sister, Nakomis West.
She is survived by two daughters, Faith Elaine Pullam and Vicky Marie Myrick both of Providence; one son, Kelly Lee Adams  and his wife, Anita of Providence; one sister, Marcedia Hearrin of Dalton; one brother, Charlie Guess of Providence; seven grandchildren, Kazi Renee Pullam, Shawn Ross Pullam, Robert Loren Myrick, Rebecca Lynn Myrick, Ryan Logan Myrick, Nicholas Craig Adams, Michael Lee Adams and four great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Melton Funeral Home in Providence with Bro. Billy Don Hearrin officiating.   
Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence.    paid

Henry Lanson Pigman, 87, Dixon went home to be with the Lord at 10:20 pm on April 12, 2014 
at his home following a long illness. 
A native of Union County, KY, he was born October 10, 1926, the son of the late Brack Ridge 
and Hessie Mable Babb Pigman. 
He was an Army Veteran and had also served in the Air Corps Reserve.  In his early years, he was 
a self-employed logger and later worked 24 years for the Webster County Board of Education 
from which he retired. 
He was a member of Dixon First Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.   
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Martha Marie Collins Pigman, six daughters, Bonnie 
Braden, Dixon, Deborah (Tom) Daniel, Dixon, Beverly (Dave) Ezell, Hopkinsville, Wilma (Mike) 
Branson, Dixon, Nancy (Chris) Brown, Dixon, and Jennifer (Chester) Davis, Clay;  13 
grandchildren, Dr. Chris (Jennifer) Braden, Dr. Amy (David) Gibson, Kelly (Jason) Whitsell, 
Corey (Jamie) Daniel, Chad (LeAnn) Daniel, Leslie (Kyle) Rhone, Brad Ezell, Amanda (Sean) 
Guzik, Laura Branson, Heath (Amber) Brown, Ridge Brown, Kyle (Shelley) Davis, Jordan Davis, 
16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY on Tuesday  
with the Rev. Dave Ezell, Hopkinsville, officiating.  Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Monday at 
the funeral home and after 8am Tuesday at the funeral home until service time.  Burial will be in 
Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon.

Judith Hibbs Riggs, 67, of Sebree, died Monday, April 7, 2014 at her home.
She was a homemaker and had worked as an EMT for Webster County Ambulance Service and also had worked for Webster County 911 office as the Coordinator. She loved sewing and working with crafts. She was a member of Dixon First Baptist Church in Dixon. She was a member of first graduating class at Webster County High School.
He is survived by her husband of 24 years, Kenny Riggs; two daughters, Traci Mattingly and her husband, Mark of Morganfield and Trudi Richardson and her husband C.W. Rickard of Beulah; four sons, Truitt Cowan and his wife, Joann of Henderson, Troy Cowan of Clay, Dennie Riggs and his wife, Kandy of Sebree and Timmy Riggs and his wife, Shanna of Sebree; two sisters, June Branson of Dixon and Connie Brown of Panama City Beach, FL; two brothers, Sonny Hibbs and his wife, Sandra of Russellville and the Rev. Johnny Hibbs and his wife, Teresa of Evansville, IN; 19 grandchildren, Boone, Rileigh, Skyler and Blue Cowan, Bailey Zaretzske, Blake and Brock Cowan, Kyle and Katelyn Mattingly, Bel Richardson, Whitney Parish and Kaley Riggs, Zack Riggs, Cassie Thurby, Anthony Pryor, Jesse Cobb, Robbie Jo Wells, Matt Rickard and Callum Rickard; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 
Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon with the Rev. Bob Hardison officiating. 
Her grandsons will be pallbearers.  
Burial will be in Slover Cemetery near Dixon.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville with the Rev. Shalmon Radford officiating.   
Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery near Clay.
The Madisonville Police Department will be providing the Honor Guard.

Dorothy Lue Vern McNary, 63, of Providence, died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at her home.
She is survived by three daughters, Jeanetta Gillespie, Shannon McNary and Andrea (Angel) McNary; one brother, Amos McNary; one sister, Mary L. Lott; four grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2014 at Simpson Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Providence with the Rev. Todd Linn officiating.   
Burial was in Cumberland Hill.

Thomas “T.J.” Tapp, 90, of Henderson, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
He was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Corydon Missionary Baptist Church in Corydon. He was preceded in death by his wife Sue Tapp.
He is survived by one son, Tommy D. Tapp and his wife, Theda of Henderson; two grandaughters, Ember Tapp Campbell and Everly Tapp.
Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon with the Rev. Todd Linn officiating.   
Burial was in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson.

David W. Schafer, Jr., 56, of Dixon, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at his home.
He worked at Dapco, Inc. in Dixon. He attended church at Ship of Zion in Dixon. He ove coonhunting and riding his motorcycle. He was a US Army Veteran.  
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Paula Schafer; three daughters, Lisa Patno of Dixon, Sarah Vos and Emily Neff both of Morganfield; his father, David W. Schafer Sr. and his wife Brenda of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; his mother, Mary Ann Dyson of Covington; four brothers, James Schafer of Cincinnati, OH, Jeffrey Schfer of Ft. Myers, FL; six grandchildren, Layla, Gillian, Summer, Markus, Warren and Mikhail; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon with the Rev. Clyde Vos officiating.
Burial was in Old Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden.

Ehlman “Al” Negley, 91, of Paducah, formerly of Providence, died Friday, April 4, 2014 at Baptist Health in Paducah.
He was a member of Corner Stone Church of Bertrand, MO. He was also a World War #2 veteran of the United States Army’s 76th Division and a member of both the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ella, his wife, Ruby, one son, John, two brothers, Harman and James, two sisters, Gladna Heathcock and Amanda Tharp.
He is survived by two sons, David Cullen of Mayfield and James Paul of Lafayette, IN; one daughter, Sharon Anderson of Sacramento, CA; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2014 at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Beulah with the Rev. Ronnie Cullen officiating.   
Burial was in Green Grove Cemetery in Providence with military honors.

William “Kenny” Kenneth Meadors, 72, of Webster County, formerly of Henderson, died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Redbanks Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree.
He is survived by two sons, Kenny Meadors of Henderson and Johnnie Meadors of Sturgis; two sisters, Shirley Sandefur of Evansville, IN, and Patricia Cowan of Waverly; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with the Rev. Charles Foster officiating.   
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Morganfield.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Fran Gobin, 72, of Clay, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
She was an avid UK basketball fan. 
She is survived by four daughters, Susan Chastain of Henderson, Shyrl Allegretti of Bahama, NC, Kelly Wordham of Ozark, AL and Amy Householder of Providence; two sons, Nicky Stevens of Dixon and Jessie Gobin of Providence; three sisters, Anna Lou Houser of Scottsdale, AZ, Linda Sue Powers of Boxville, and Judy Faye Woodring of Bowling Green; one brother, James Huie Walker of Murray; 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 90 US Hwy. 41-A South, Dixon, next door to Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon. The family requests, if you have any UK attire please feel free to wear it to the memorial service.

William C. “Bill” Winstead
William C. “Bill” Winstead, 88, of Dixon, died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN.
He was the owner/operator of Dixon Hardware in Dixon. He was a member of Dixon First Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was also a member of the Dixon Lions Club, Dixon Masonic Lodge #911, 33rd degree Mason, Scottish Rite, York Rite and a Shriner. He was a KY Colonel and had helped many years with Dixon Freedom Days.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth Winstead; one daughter, Debra W. Horschel and her husband, Larry of Smyrna, TN; two grandchildren, Michelle Tanksley and Travis Horschel; three great-grandchildren, Casey, Hannah and Eli.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon with the Rev. Hank Cayce and the Rev. Jared Leet officiating.   
Burial was in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon. 
A masonic service was conducted at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
