Betty Jean McChesney, 75, of Providence died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014 at her home. 

She is preceded in death by one son, Stephen Yarbrough, one grandson, Nicholas Rollins and one granddaughter, Stephanie Railey.

She is survived by five children, LaDonna (Tim) Rogers and Jeffrey Yarbrough all of Florence, SC, Janet (Mike) Railey of Providence, Rebecca (Wade) Funderberg and Connie Yarbrough all of Aiken, SC; four grandchildren, Timothy Rollins, Christina Keyes, Brandon Yarbrough, and Chance Holbrook; four great-grandchildren, Alexis Rollins, Gavin Rollins, Duncan Keyes, and Lincoln Rollins.

Services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Providence. 

Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery.          paid

Duane Zachary, 75, of Slaughters died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. 

He is survived by two daughters, Jackie Nance and Janice Carter both of Slaughters; one son, Dennis Zachary of Jasper, IN; one sister, Peggy Coomes; one brother, Bryan Zachary; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014 at 4 p.m. at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughter Chapel with Pastor James Keegan officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m until service time.

Burial will be at a later date.

Carroll Smith Higginson, 75, of Sebree died Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. 

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Melton) Higginson; one daughter, Suzanne Pride of Hanson; one son, Robert Higginson of Indenpendence; two granddaughters; beloved aunt, Ruby Higginson of Evansville, IN; and cousins.

Services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Tomboinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Dr. Dean Esarey officiating.

Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole.

Georgia Anna Parker, 93, of Providence died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. 

She was born to the late Jim and Olivia Shaw Aug. 6, 1921 in Ripley, TN. She was the last of nine children born to this union.

She united in holy matrimony to the late Robert Hennings. To this union the late Charles Hennings, Emma Hennings and the late Ira Shaw was born.

Later in life after moving to Gary, IN, she met and married Bennie Lee Parker.

She is survived by three daughters, Emma Phillips, Brenda (James) Brasher of Providence and Geraldine Parker; also a host grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Providence. 

Burial was in Cumberland Hill Cemetery.     paid

Billy Earl Morse, 75, of Providence died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at his residence. 

He is survived by his companion, Betty Akins; two daughters, April Vetero of Decatur, IL and Kristie Maxwell of Evansville, IN; one son, Billy Morse, Jr. of Slaughters; one sister, Esther June Bollinger of Henderson; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Providence. 

Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence.

Phyliss A. Miclette

Phyllis A. Miclette, 75, of Dixon formerly of Carmi, IL passed away at 4:15 a.m., Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Lucy Smith Care Center in Henderson.  

She was born September 28, 1939 in Hartford, CT the daughter of Wilfred and Mary (Milton) Schofield. Phyllis married Roger J. Miclette on April 16, 1962 and he preceded her in death on September 20, 2004. She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Assembly of God Church in Carmi.  

Phyllis is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Jimmy King of Carmi, IL and Carlene and William McKinley of Dixon; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Marcia Smith of Dixon and Donald and Darla Miclette of St. Charles, MO; a sister, Beverly Forand of Hebron, CT; a brother, Leslie Schofield of Tolland, CT; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  

She was also preceded in death by a son, Scott Miclette and a sister, Ethel Therrien.

Funeral services for Phyllis A. Miclette, 75, of Dixon, formerly of Carmi, IL will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.  

Burial will be in White County Memorial Garden.

Bobby W. Jackson 67, of Dixon, died at Baptist Health in Madisonville on Friday November 21, 2014. 

He was retired from Whirlpool after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Dixon General Baptist Church in Dixon. 

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Donna Overby Jackson of Dixon; 2 daughters Melea Ramin and Danielle Jackson both of Dixon; two sisters, Sue Jackson and Sandy Jackson both of Providence; one brother, James Jackson of Providence; one grandchild Ameera Ramin and nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday Nov. 24, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon with the Rev John Brumfiel and Rev. Ron Hampton officiating. 

Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon. 

Visitation was from 3-8 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral ho-me.                               paid

William Earl Donahoo, 79, of Winter Haven, FL and Sebree died Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Winter Haven Hospital in Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Crowley) Donahoo; one daughter, Zoe Ellen Donahoo Stanley of Sebree; one son, Gregory Earl Donahoo of Bowling Green; one brother, Jimmy Donald Donahoo of Sebree; three sisters, Marcell McHatton of Henderson, Carnetta Sue Bigers of Slaughters and Marilyn Jane Stoutenburg of Centerville, TN; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Kevin Royalty and Bro. Bob Hardison officiating.

Burial was in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Calvin Earl Newcom, 65, of Clay died Friday, October 24, 2014, at his daughters residence in Sturgis.

He is survived by three daughters, Michelle Brown of Dixon, Melody Quillen of Clay and Misty Sale of Stugis; one sister, Brenda Harris of Clay; three brothers, John Newcom of Marion, David Newcom of Clay and Bobby Newcom of Marion; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were conducted Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Larry Williams officiating.

Burial was in White Oak  Cemetery in Clay with military rights conducted.

She is survived by one sister, Norma Sue Carter of Los Angeles, CA; one brother, Norris Lockridge of Henderson; several nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted Sunday, Nov. 1, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon with Bro. Dwight Darnell officiating.

Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon.
