Anthony Earl Christian, 56, of Madisonville died Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Amanda Christian of Slaughters, one brother, William George Christian, two sisters, Susan Skimehorn and Pauline Thomas.
He is survived by a one son, Anthony Christian, Jr of Madisonville; two daughters, Georgetta Christian and Christina Christian both of Madisonville; five grandchildren, Gabriel, Joseph, George, Cabe and Lydia, one brother, Floyd Christian of Eldorado, IL; three sisters, Archie Butler of Eldorado, IL, Sheila Hughes of Providence and Brenda Simms of Madisonville; 
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 24, 2014 at Zion Brick Cemetery in Slaughters.                              paid

Mary Lou Winebarger, 76, of Providence died Monday, October 13, 2014, at Breckenridge Place in Morganfield.
She was preceded in death by one brother, J.M. Crowell.
She is survived by one daughter, Tammie Brown of Providence; one son, Tim Winebarger of Clay; four grandchildren, Tracey Ervin, Derrick Winebarger, Erik Winebarger, and Aaron Hart; three great-grandchildren; six sisters, Prue Malone of Evansville, IN, Sue Lofton of Avon Park, FL, Ruby Harrison, Dixie McWorthy, and Joyce Barnhill all of Providence and Wanda Hughes of Madisonville.
Funeral service was conducted Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2 p.m.
Burial was in Fox Cemetery in Providence. paid

Thomas D. Lovett
Thomas D. Lovett, 88, of Murray, died Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital. 
 He is survived by two daughters, Regina Melton of Sebree and Amelia K. Harris of East Carondelet, IL; two sisters, Mary White Lowrie of Hazel and Patricia Miller of Murray; one brother, Harry Lovett of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert McKinney and the Rev. David Allbritten officiating.  Burial was in Outland Cemetery.

Frances Lucille Lahue


Frances Lucille Lahue
Frances Lucille Lahue, 96, of Springfield, died at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at River Birch Senior Living. 
Frances was born March 14, 1918 in Providence, KY, the daughter of Edward and Mary Alice Edmonson Vaughn.  She married John E. Lahue in 1945 in Morganfield, KY; he preceded her in death in 1977. 
Frances retired after 28 years of service with Sangamo Electric and 20 years with the Secretary of State, where she was the Employee of the Year in 2000.  She was a member of the Abraham Lincoln Eastern Star Chapter and was an avid reader who enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds in her neighborhood. 
She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and one sister. 
She is survived by her son, Billie Vaughn (wife, Lois) Lahue of Springfield; four grandchildren, William Edward (wife, Milagros) Lahue, Theresa (husband, Tim) Mercer, Mary Reed (companion, Steve Burke), and Catherine J. (husband, Jason) May; nine great-grandchildren, Alexandra and William Lahue, Jr., Brian, Adam and Katelyn Mercer, Nicholas (wife, Lyndi) Reed, Brent, Caleb, and Amelia May; and one great-great-granddaughter, Hannah Reed. 
Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Vaughn Beeman officiating.  Burial will follow at Grove City Cemetery.

Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Big Hill Cemetery in Providence.
Jones Funeral Home in Providence was in charge of the arrangements.

Thomas A. (Tomboy) Martin
Thomas A. (Tomboy) Martin, of High Ridge, MO, formerly of Clay, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 at home.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lorna Lee (Powell) Martin; one son, Scott A. Martin; two grandchildren and seven great-granchildren.
Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, MO.

Samuel G. Cotton
Samuel G. Cotton, 72, of Dixon died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
He was retired from maintenance at the Webster County Vocational School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dixon.
He was the son of the late Samuel Luther and Charlene Cotton. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Ronnie Cotton.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lena Villines Cotton; one daughter, Jacki Nall McGregor and her husband, Kerry of Princeton; one step-daughter, Tammy Smith and her husband, Tim of Dixon; two step-sons, Jimmy Capps of Sebree and Tim Capps and his wife, Crystal of Grand Rivers; two sisters, Jo Ann Terry and Janie Harper and her husband, Richard all of Princeton; one brother, Johnny Cotton of Princeton; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 
Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday Sept.  27, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon with the Rev. Hank Cayce officiating. 
Burial was in Prospect Cemetery in Hopkins County.                         paid
