Robert Harold Simms, 78, of Providence, died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at his son’s house.

He is survived by four sons, Bobby Simms and Darrell Simms both of Providence, Terry Simms of Manitou and Billy Simms of Sebree; two daughters, Peggy Rine of Princeton and Doris Simms of Henderson; one brother, Cecil Simms of Providence; one sister, Jewell Jones of Madisonville; nine granchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 at Jones & Erdman Funeral Home in Providence.   

Burial was in cemetery in Hopkins County.
