Deborah “Debbie” Hust Dunville, 62, of Slaughters died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015 Bowling Green.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Dunville; one daughter, Jerri Anna Fisk of Bowling Green; her father, Lawrence (Ann) Hust of Slaughters; one sister, Susie Hust of Central City; one grandson, Ari Fisk of Bowling Green; two nephews and one niece.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday Sept. 26, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel with Pastor Ken Hundley officiating.
Burial was in Slaughters Cemetery.

Jason Derrick Perkins, 43, of Providence died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 in Hopkins County.
He is survived by his parents, Alan and Jana Perkins of Providence; one son, Remington Kade Perkins; one daughter, Claudia Dare Perkins; one sister, Amanda “Mandy” Perkins of Greenville;  a very special Aunt Karen Perkins.
Memorial services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday Oct. 2, 2015 at Jones and Kirby Funeral Home in Providence.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Friday.

Dennis Blackwell, 54, of Providence died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015 in Hopkins County.
He is survived by his son, Eric Blackwell; three daughters, Maci Blackwell, Ari Blackwell and Jenny Evitts; one sister, Teresa Halsrud; six grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday Sept. 28, 2015 at Jones and Kirby Funeral Home in Providence.
Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery.

Sandy Harmon
Sandy Harmon died on Feb. 27, 2015 at Evansville Deaconess Hospital after spending several months as a patient.  He was born on Feb 16, 1943. He attended Providence High School and graduated in 1961.
Sandy was known as a “chemical genius” by his classmates. He relocated to California and was employed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Harmon and the grandson of the late Robert and Nettie Harmon of Providence. He and his brother, Johnny, were frequently seen at the Dixie Bee Cafe that was owned and operated by his grandmother,
He is survived by of three children and he returned to Providence after retirement.
He considered Frank and Tom Skinner family and they assisted him during his illness. 
A graveside memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 at Lakeview Cemetery in Providence for Sandy by the PHS Class of 1961. All are invited to attend.

Camila Elizabeth Johnson, 96, of Sebree died Monday, Sept. 28, 2015 at Methodist Hospital.
She is survived by one daughter, Edith Morene Hatchett of Henderson; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
Services will conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday Oct. 3, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Bro. Eddie Berry and Bro. John McCurry officiating.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Jackie Suzzanne “Susie” Stinnett Chapman, 55, of Henderson died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 at her home.
She is survived by one son, Justin Givens of Evansville, IN; parents James B and Nancy Taylor of Henderson; one brother, Christopher Stinnett of Henderson; two sisters, Lisa Byers of Evansville, IN, and Valerie Willett of Henderson; two grandchildren, two nieces, one nephew, and  two great-nieces.
Private services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday Sept. 19, 2015 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole with Brandon Hogan officiating.

Steve Driver, 58, of Clay, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
He was a member of the Christian Worship Center in Providence, where he served as a council member.
He worked at Saturn Machine and Welding in Sturgis for over 20 years.
Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Jana Driver of Clay; his mother Lois Driver of Clay; two daughters, Kayla Calvert and her husband Zack of Louisville, and Gloria Stringfield of Clay; one sister, Sharon Legere of Clay; one brother, Bill Driver and his wife Jeanie of Clay.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at New Life Christian Worship Center in Providence, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Garry Dock officiating.  Burial was in Lisman Cemetery in Lisman.  
Visitation was held Friday, September 18, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at New Life Christian Worship Center in Providence and from 9 a.m. til service time on Saturday.

Rickey Alan Thorpe Jr., 29, of Dawson Springs, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at Onton #9 in Sebree.
Rickey was born May 8, 1986 in Madisonville to Rickey Thorpe Sr. and Kathy Pollard Barlett. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, the Rev. J.C. Thorpe and Bobby Pollard.
Rickey worked as a coal miner for Alliance Coal and was a volunteer fireman. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, gardening, riding four wheelers and history. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Rickey is survived by his wife of 5 years, Kaila Thorpe; father, Rickey Thorpe Sr of Crofton; mother, Kathy (Greg) Bartlett of Mortons Gap; one brother, Bobby Thorpe of White Plains; grandmothers, Shirley Prusacki of Tilden, IL and Mary Thorpe of Hopkinsville; father-in-law, Patrick (Stacey) Bullock of Eddyville; mother-in-law, Rachel Finchum of Greencastle, IN; and several aunts, uncles, and extended family.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville with the Rev. Thad Hopper officiating. 
Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nortonville.
Visitation was from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Jason Pollard, Brad Pollard, Derek Bullock, Greg Mills, Jeremy Tapp, Dayton Reed, Craig Thorpe, and Michael Thorpe. Honorary pallbearers were be Richard Bell and Chase Cartwright.

Doris J. Minnette, 79, of Clay, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015, at her residence.  She was born June 9, 1936, in Vincennes. 
She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Minnette. 
 Doris is survived by daughters, Patti “Susy” (Homer) Main, Jeannine (Robert) Chambers and Gabrielle (Michael) Nicholas; sons, William E. (Carolyn) Minnette, Jr. and Charles (Bonita) Minnette; grandchildren, Sarah Glazebrook, Larry Main, Hilary (Aaron) Seglers, Andy (Erika) Minnette, Alex (Renee) Minnette, Phillip Johnson, Emily Minnette, Jamison Chambers, Varrick Chambers, William Nicholas, Samantha Minnette, John Nicholas, Lily Minnette and William Minnette, III; eight great-grandchildren and sister, Patty Smith of Vincennes. 
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Mike Putman with burial in McCutchanville Cemetery.

Kelly Renee McCandless, 45, of Dixon died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
She is survived by two daughters, Kelsey and Katelyn Foster both of Dixon; her parents, Naomi and Tommy Liggett of Dixon and Carl Gene and Joyce McCandless of Beechmont; one sister, Carla Mooney of Dixon; two half-sisters, Kristy Law of Manitou and Tracy McCandless of Beechmont; one step-sister, Shannon Sheridan of Dixon; one brother, Dwayne McCandless of Clay; one half-brother, Carl McCandless of Beechmont; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday Sept. 12, 2015 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon with the Rev. Roger Felker officiating.
Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden.

Judy Lee Householder

Judy Lee Householder Liggett, 64 of Dixon,  went  to be with her Lord under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice at her home on Thursday Sept. 10, 2015.
She had worked for Lifeline Home care for 14 years as a Home Aide, she was a member of New Cedar Grove General Baptist Church. She loved and treasured her church and church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents James “J.W.” and Evelyn Householder.
Survivors include her daughter Shannon Sheridan and her husband, John of Dixon; a sister, Jeannie Edwards of Clay; a brother, Jimbo Householder of Tilden; three grandchildren, Micah, JJ and Miley Sheridan; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were be held at 1 p.m. on Monday,  Sept. 14, 2015 at New Cedar Grove General Baptist Church in Tilden with the Rev. Dwayne Wilson and Rev. Jerry Simpson officiating.
Burial was in Old Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon and from 9 a.m. until service time at the church on Monday.

Kenneth Lee Newman

Kenneth Lee Newman, 65, of Clay, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
He was a 1968 graduate of Webster County High School. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Chiquita Newman, onw brother, Phillip Newman and one step-daughter, Teresa Stone.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Lasca Newman; three sisters, Lovica Newman of Clay, Vanessa Schmitt of Clay, and Yolanda Duncan of Dixon; Caregiver, Charley Farley of Morganfield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with  Mike Baker officiating. Military Rites were conducted. 
Burial will be at a later date. 
Visitation was Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 10 a.m. til service time at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay.

Phyllis A. Abel, 56 of Velpen, Indiana passed away Thursday, September 3 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.
 She is survived by her husband, David R. Abel and her two children, Megan Hollis of Henderson, and Mark E. Abel of Washington, Indiana. Also suriving her is her mother, Norma Jean Walker of Henderson, Kentucky, her sister, Jolle Collier of Henderson, and her brother, John Walker also of Morganfield. As well as her grandchildren, Erin, Morgan, Bremen, Tiffany, Emily, and Andrew.
A memorial service was held Monday, September 14, 2015 at Melton Funeral Home in Providence at 2 p.m. with Bro. Ralph Alexander officating.
 Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Clay.

She was a homemaker and was a member of Covenant Community Church in Madisonville.
She was preceded in death by her dad Victor Puckett. Survivors include her husband Terry McBride Sr. of Hanson; one daughter, Amanda Maturo and her husband Shawn of Madisonville; one son, Terry “T.J.” McBride Jr. and his wife Elissa of Sebree; her mother Melideen Puckett Kuhr of Henderson;  three sisters, Linda Puckett of Dixon; Shirley Daniels of Madisonville, KY and Jackie McMillen of Dixon; one brother, Danny Puckett of Nebo; six grandchildren, Lilly, Lorelei, Maria, Tobias, Sarah and Terry III; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday Sept. 16, 2015 at Covenant Community Church at 1055 N. Main Street in Madisonville with the Rev. Michael Knight and the Rev. Gary Brothers officiating.
Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon.
Visitation was from 1-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the church and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.

Ray Vernon Winstead

Ray Vernon Winstead 87, of Clay passed away Monday September 14, 2015 at Maristone Assisted Living in Franklin, TN.
He was a farmer and a member of First Baptist Church in Clay where he served as a deacon and usher for many years. He was an Air Force Korean War Veteran. While in the Air Force he was in the military police and was stationed in England, North Africa, and California. He was preceded in death by his wife Magalene in 2005, his son Darrel in 2011, and his brother Bill in 2011.
He is survived by his daughters Marcia Dowdy and her husband Todd of Fairhope, AL and Tamara Outland and her husband Mike of Franklin, TN. Grandchildren are Megan Dowdy and Rebecca Dowdy both of Fairhope, AL. and Michael Winstead of San Antonio, TX. Mr Winstead is also survived by his sister Ann Ramage and her husband James of Cold Spring, KY, sisters-in-law and their husbands Marcella Hobgood and her husband Merle of Dixon, and Loretta Edwards and her husband Johnnie of Bloomington, IN.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 18, 2015 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Clay, with Dr. Lee James and Bro. James Taylor officiating, and burial to follow in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay.
Visitation will be Thursday 4:30 to 8 p.m. at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay and Friday 10 a.m. until service time at First Baptist Church in Clay.

He is survived by his wife, Nelda Farthing; four sons, Robert Dale Farthing, Mike Farthing, Jimmy Denton and Johnny Denton; five daughters, Velda Dunbar, Sherry Cullen, Bonnie Richmond, Sheri Riddle and Rhonda Wood; three brothers, Robert Farthing, Joe Farthing and Max Farthing; two sisters, Deloris Owens and Maxine Arhelger; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday Sept. 11, 2015 at Green Grove Church.
Burial will be in Green Grove Cemetery.

Wesley Sharp 84, of Henderson, passed away at his home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. 
He was a Tool & Die machinist for several years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served during the Korean War. He was of the Baptist Faith. 
He was preceded in death by two brothers Perry and Toby Sharp. 
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Carole J. Sharp of Henderson; one daughter, Sheila Darlene Gruber and her husband James of Mayfield; two sons, Wesley Steven Sharp and his wife Tina of Henderson, and George Carl Sharp of Huntsville, AL; one sister, Mallie Hargis of Henderson; one brother, Alan Sharp of Henderson; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Burial was in Springdale Cemetery.
