Jonell (Bethel) Skaggs, 90, of Madisonville died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 at the NHC Nursing Home in Madisonville.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Leroy Calvin Skaggs of Clay; one son, Jerry Skaggs of Clay; one grandson; two great granddaughters; 
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday August 20, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with the Rev. Larry Phaup officiating. 
Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Onton Cemetery.

Timothy Wade Lewis
Timothy Wade Lewis, 20, of Clay passed away Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014 at his home.
He was employed with Strata Mining Services and was an avid hunter.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leonard Lewis in 1995.
He is survived by one daughter, Aleeya Michelle Lewis of Clay; his father, Tim Lewis of Clay; his mother, Beth Lewis of Providence; two sisters, Melissa Liechty and her husband, Adam of Paris, KY and Brandi Burnett and her husband, Kevin of Providence; his grandparents, Henrietta Lewis of Blackford and Bob and Faye Greenwell of Sturgis.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday August 19, 2014 at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Mike Putman officiating. 
Visitation was Sunday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
Burial was in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay.        paid

Wallace Donovan Duncan, 74, of Slaughters died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Herron Duncan of Slaughters; two daughters, Cynthia Goff of Slaughters and Lisa Jackson of Montgomery, AL; one son, Matthew Duncan of Louisville; five sisters, Dean Hight, Nina Almon, Carolyn Faulk and Rita Chadwick all of Madisonville and Linda Scott of White Plains; two brothers, Wayne Duncan of Princeton and Randy Duncan of Nortonville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 
Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday August 19, 2014 at Slaughters Baptist Church with Bro. Andrew Sexton officiating. 
Burial was in Slaughters Cemetery.

Rodney Dale Cole, 79, of Providence passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 in Providence.
Rodney was the son of the late Herman and Stella Cole. He was a master car salesman over the years.
He is survived by one daughter, Dana Chandler; one brother, Dr. Wayne Cole; one sister, Rose Glover; two granddaughters, Julie Guess and Leslie Blackwell and six great-grandchildren. 
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday August 19, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home in Providence. 
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence.

Donald Edwin Simpson, 74, of Onton passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Norma (Jubitz) Simpson; one daughter, Jennifer Young of Murray; one brother, Eric Simpson of Slaughters; two granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. 
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday August 23, 2014 at Onton United Methodist Church. 
Visitation will be Saturday from noon until service time at the church.

Nancy “Carol” Liford


Nancy “Carol” Liford
In memory of Nancy “Carol” Liford, age 57, who went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2014 in her home in Henderson under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice with her sister, Pam, and brother-in-law Eddie by her side. Her constant companion and pet, “Nevaeh” was also by her side. 
Nancy was the daughter of John and Winifred Liford, born April 9, 1957, in Pineville, Kentucky. She was the second of four children. Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, she attended Ackerman School as a child. Carol was a spirited, kind person who never lost her joy for the simple things in life. Carol regularly enjoyed coloring, watching Scooby Doo, singing along with Loretta Lynn, playing Legos, and being a friend to any and everybody who came to visit or happen to run into her. 
She was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church, and loved Jesus with all her heart. Her special hugs and warm smile will be missed. 
She is survived by her sister Pam Berry and husband Eddie of Henderson; brothers; Timothy Paul Liford of Henderson, Steve Liford and sister-in-law Diane Liford of Troy, MO; Nephews; Clinton Berry and Mitchell Berry; several other nieces and nephews 
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday August 16, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Berry and Clinton Berry officiating.
Burial was in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree. 
Visitation was Friday from 4-8 and Saturday noon until service time at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. 
Pallbearers were Pam Berry, Eddie Berry, Clinton Berry, Mitchell Berry, Steve Liford, Tim Liford and Sherry Hagan. 
Honorary Pallbearers were Helen Ritterskamp, Minnie Chaney and Chris Clark.

Garlin Hall Neisz, 65, of Providence died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
She is survived by four children, Zane Neisz, Zach Neisz, Keziah Neisz all of Providence and Theresa Neisz of Illinois; three sisters, Mildred Begrin of Dawson Springs, Brenda Ott of Dalton and Shelia Peyton of Owensboro.  
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday August 15, 2014 at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis, MO. 
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home in Providence.

Ruby Irene Parish, 95, of Madisonville died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy Moore of Madisonville and Patsy Stone of Dixon; 13 grandchildren, several great-granchildren and several nieces and nephews.  
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday August 14, 2014 at Concord General Baptist Church in Maintou with Bro. Eddie Fleming officiating and Bro. Brian Richarson assisting. 
Burial will be in Concord Cemetery in Manitou. 
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville and from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.

Robert G. Bouchard, 75, of Madisonville died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, TN.
He is survived by his second wife, Tommye Bouchard; one daughter, Judith Belt of Oswego, NY; one son, Jerry Woodring of Clay; one sister, Sylvia C. Bouchard of New Hampshire; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 
Services will conducted at 11 a.m. Friday August 15, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Madisonville with the Rev. Hughlan Richey officiating. 
Burial will be in Rosebud Cemetery in Marion. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the United States Navy.

Jamie Nicole Sigler
Jamie Nicole Sigler 31, of Clay went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday August 5, 2014.
Jamie was a 2001 graduate of Webster County High School. She was a practical nurse with a Bachelor degree in Business Management.  Jamie’s current occupation was that of homemaker which was her favorite, she lived to serve her family. Jamie was a member of Providence General Baptist Church where she enjoyed working in the children’s ministries and serving her Lord. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Jamie leaves behind her beloved husband of 12 years, Tommy; her daughter Madelyn and her son Talan both at home; her parents Jeff and Cindy Davis of Providence; her grandparents, Robert Jr. and Rebecca Davis of Providence and Donna Woods of Providence, her step grandmother, Margaret Turner of Providence. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Jewell “Butch” Turner.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday August 9, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Providence General Baptist Church in Providence with Bro. Barry Cullen officiating.
Burial was in Green Grove Cemetery in Providence.
Visitation was Friday, August 8, 2014, 2-8 p.m. at Providence General Baptist Church and Saturday 9 a.m. until service time at the church.

Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Qualls, 62, of Sebree died Friday, Aug. 1, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
He is survived by his mother, Wanda (Roland) Qualls of Sebree; two brothers, Dorris Qualls and Tim Qualls of Sebree; nieces and nephews.    
Services will be private. 
A private burial will be in Onton Cemetery.

Leroy Paul Papineau, Sr., 86, of Clay died Friday, Aug. 1, 2014 at Western KY Veterans Center in Hanson.
He is survived by four daughters, Rose Mary Papineau and Eileen Papineau both of Arizona, Helen Hook of Clay and Lucille Crawford of Kankakee, IL; seven sons, Mike Papineau and John Papineau both of Providence, Tom Papineau of Pensylvania, Leroy Papineau of Clay, Leroy Papineau, Jr. II and Gary Papineau both of Strawberry, AZ and Donald Papineau of Kankakee, IL; one sister, Penny Henson of Grand Chain, IL; two brothers, Gerald Papineau of Providence and Ralph Papineau of Aurora, CO; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.   
There will be a memorial service at a later date. 
Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay.

Rena Mae “Granny” Teague Hess 90, of Providence died Thursday, July 31, 2014 at her daughters home in Providence.
She was born on July 11, 1924 in Caldwell County to James and Clora Mae Teague. She had worked for the Plastic Factory in Providence and retired from Speed Queen in 1990. She was a member of Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lemon Richard Hess in 1994 and three brothers, Floyd Teague, Raybert Teague and James Teague. 
She is survived by one daughter, Patsy Hess Walker and husband, Aubrey of Providence; one granddaughter, Shana Walker Alfred and husband, Wayne of Providence; one great-granddaughter, Callie Nicole Alfred of Providence; several nieces and nephews.  
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday August 3, 2014 at Jones and Erdman Funeral Home in Providence with the Rev. Eddie Fleming, Bro. Alan Alfred and Bro. Chris Alfred officiating. 
Burial was be in Prospect Cemetery in Dalton. 
Pallbearers were David Teague, Raymon Teague, Ricky Hess, Robert Teague, Wayne Alfred and Alan Teague.                              paid
