John L. Wilson


John L. Wilson, 67, of Slaughters, KY, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016, at The Heartford House in Owensboro.  He was born on August 10, 1948, in Onton, KY, to the late Roy Louis Wilson and Fannie Thomas Wilson. 

He is survived by his wife, Judy (Piercefield) Wilson of Slaughters, KY;  three sons, David Dewayne (Lea) Wilson of Slaughters, KY, John Pascal (Karen) Wilson of Jacksonville, FL, and Chad Ezra (Tiffany) Wilson of Lexington, KY; two sisters, Betty (Rube) Wright and Sue (Harold) Melton, both of Onton, KY; a brother, Timmy (Vickie) Wilson of Onton, KY; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services were Monday, February 29, 2016, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel.  Brother Bill Crabtree officiated. Burial was in Onton Cemetery.

Morris David Beach


Morris Davis Beach, 67, of Clay, KY passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at his home.

He was a member of Wheatcroft Church of God of Prophecy in Wheatcroft, KY.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years Jo Beach; one daughter, Alisha Allen of Clay, KY; two sons, Trevor Beach and Jeffery Beach both of Morganfield, KY; one step-son, Lance Harper of Paducah, KY; two sisters, Betty Wilson of Sebree, KY, and Margaret Foster of Wheatcroft, KY; five brothers, Marvin Beach and Kenneth Beach, both of Wheatcroft, KY, Jerry Beach of Providence, KY, George Beach of Sullivan, KY, and Freddy Beach of Henderson, KY; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Wheatcroft Church of God of Prophecy in Wheatcroft, KY at 2:00 PM with Bro. Frankie Foster officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.

Reva Allene Hust

Reva Allene Hust 74, of Providence, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at her home. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Esper Chesser. 

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Hust; son Jimmy Hust; daughters Karen Dixon, Shelia Russell, and Ruth Matchem; brothers Marshall Chesser and Morane Lewis; sisters Martha Hood, Betty Kurtsinger, and Mattie Holt; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

Service and Visitation will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Jones and Kirby Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery.

Kenneth Ray Puckett


Kenneth Ray Puckett Jr. 56 of Clay, KY, formerly of Dixon, KY, passed away at his home on Sunday February 14, 2016. 

Survivors include his two daughters, Emily and Kendra Puckett, both of Paducah, KY; a son, Eric Puckett of Dixon, KY; two sisters, Donna Overby of Dixon, KY, and Kathy Greenwood of Sebree, KY; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

No services will be held. Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon is in charge of arrangements.
