Sonny Dean Towery, 56 of Providence, died at his February 20, 2015 at his home.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Rhonda Towery; one son Chris Towery; one daughter Haley Towery; two brothers, Joe Towery and Melvin Towery; sisters Norma Hunt and Debby Teague; several nieces and nephews. 
Services will be conducted Thursday, February 26 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 26 from 4-7 p.m. and from 11 a.m. until service time Friday, February 27, in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home.

Donald Keith Dement
Donald Keith Dement, 77, of Madisonville, passed away, February 22, 2015 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Donald was born on March 2, 1937 in Hopkins County, to the late Wesley Dennis Dement and Versa Pearl Rhew Dement. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Dale Dement and Rodney Dement.
He was a member of First General Baptist Church and loved watching UK basketball. He worked as a self-employed building contractor.
Mr. Dement is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Sue Dement of Madisonville; one daughter, Keitha Dement of Hanson; one son, Alan (Shannon) Dement of Providence; six grandchildren, Jeremy Witherspoon, Nathan Witherspoon, Rebekah (Cody) Bean, Wesley Dement, Drew Dement, and Keri Beth Dement; and three great-grandchildren,Dayton Witherspoon, Madison Witherspoon, and Braelyn Bean.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Harry Baldwin and Bro. Robbie Knox officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday and from 12 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.   
Pallbearers will be Wesley Dement, Drew Dement, Cody Bean, Merle Rakestraw, Deron Dement, and John Dement.

Larry Franklin Beckner, 65, of Madisonville, passed away, February 23, 2015 at his residence.
Larry was born on May 3, 1949 in Webster County, to the late Charles Beckner and Lila Thomas Beckner. He was preceded in death by one brother, George Beckner.
He worked as a coal miner and in a saw mill.
He is survived by his wife of nine years, Shirley Miller Beckner; two daughters, Cynthia Parker, Rebecca (Nathan) Welch; two step-daughters, Kay (Robert) Fields and Sheila Lutz; one sister, Alice May of Evansville, IN; three brothers, Johnny Beckner of Clay, Kenny (Joyce) Beckner of Marion; and James (Patsy) Beckner of Wheatcroft; eight grandchildren, and one great- grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam Beeny officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the service time on Wednesday morning.   
Pallbearers will be James Beckner, Charlie Beckner, Jacob Parker, Joseph Beckner, and Archie Wayne Alfred.

She was a member of Water Valley Baptist Church and a Speech Language Pathologist at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield. 
She is survived by her husband, Tim Grissom; one daughter, Chelsea Grissom, of Wingo; one son, Ty Grissom, of Wingo; her mother, Donna Villines and her father and step-mother, Chris and Gwen Villines and all of Providence; one brother, Darren Villines, Clay; nieces and nephews. 
Services will be conducted Friday, Feb. 27, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Revs. Howard Copeland and Tommy Stewart officiating.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Earl Tosh, Johnny Ray Tosh, and David Carl Jameson; one daughter, Cindy Lou Tosh; two brothers, James (Boy) Travis and William (Sonny) Travis; three sisters, Mary Wyatt, Betty Atkins and Rebecca (Sissy) Miller; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Providence.
 Burial was in Green Grove Cemetery in Providence.

Mamie Kathleen Collins, 90, of Clay, KY passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
She was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of Blackford Missionary Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school and bible school. She also enjoyed sewing and loved children.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years V. Max Collins of Clay; one daughter, Brenda Jessup and her husband David of Madisonville; one brother, Russell Waide of Marion, IL; one granddaughter, Heather Taliaferro of Dawson Springs and one great-grandchild Blayne Taliaferro of Dawson Springs.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Dennis Williams officiating and Bro. Jake Brantley assisting.  
Burial to follow in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay.  Visitation was Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. til service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Reva Joyce “Gardner” Shoulders, 82, of Evansville, formerly of Dixon, was received by the Lord Friday, February 20, 2015.
She was born March, 3 1932 to Bessie and William Gardner. One of her fondest memories growing up was playing in the rural country side with her seven brothers and two sisters. 
She is preceded by her husband William O. Shoulders. They welcomed many into their lives especially those in times of need. Her passion was her faith and was a long-time member of Waggoner General Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son Stephen Shoulders his wife Cynthia, two grandchildren, Chad and Abbi; brothers, Jerry Gardner of La Port IN, David Gardner of Louisville, Darrell Gardner of Henderson, Roger Gardner of Florida, Paul Gardner of Evansville, IN, Malcolm Gardner of Owensboro, Terry Gardner of Lexington and sister Ann Gardner Vessels of Owensboro. She is also survived by her extended in-law family who loved her very dearly.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday February 24, 2015 1 p.m. at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Darrell Dukes officiating and burial to follow in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay.
Visitation was Monday, February 23, 2015 3-8 p.m. and Tuesday 9 a.m. til service time at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay.

Marietta Tapp Chandler 89, of Dixon,  passed away Monday February 16, 2015 at Lucy King Smith Care Center in Henderson. 
She was a graduate of Lockyear Business College, and was a member and Sunday School Teacher at Tilden General Baptist Church. She was also a homemaker and worked in the Webster County School System for many years. 
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymon Chandler, 1 sister Corene Duncan and 2 brothers Prentice and Elbert Tapp. 
Survivors include two daughters, Theda Tapp and her husband Tommy of Henderson and Rama Austin and her husband Paul of Slaughters; one son P.E. Chandler and his wife Cathy of Dixon; seven grandchildren,  Ember Campbell, Everly Tapp, Ryan Austin, Andrea Hancock, Brandon Chandler, Katie Alexander and Sakara Chandler; eight great-grandchildren, Natalie, Malorie, Cooper, Hadley, Hunter, Nora, Taylor and Olivia. 
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Tilden General Baptist Church in Tilden with the Rev. Harry Baldwin and the Rev. Matthew Moore officiating. 
Burial was in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson.

Suzanne Vaughn Rosborough, 63, of Jackson, Tennessee, formerly of Dixon, died Monday, February 2, 2015, at Jackson Madison County Hospital. 
She was a graduate of Murray State University and formerly was a Case Worker for the Kentucky Department of Human Resources. 
She is survived by her husband, Mike Rosborough; her mother, Ann Johnston and her Step-Father, Bob Johnston of Paducah; one sister, Janie Smalley and husband, Mike, of Paducah; two step-sisters, Jane Melrose and husband, Jim, and Barbara Higgins and husband, Chip, of Franklin, TN; sister-in-law, Kathleen Bracher, of Evansville, IN; three nephews Christopher Smalley of Nashville, TN, and Phillip and Brandon Bracher of Northern Virginia; one niece, Valada Sinclair of Louisville. 
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Birdwell.
Memorial services were held on Friday, February 6, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Townsend Funeral Home, Dixon, with Jim Melrose officiating.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jean Braden; two daughters, Carolyn Sterling of Clay and Paula Alfred of Providence; four sons, Morris Braden of Clay, Johnny Braden of Providence, Ricky Braden of Henderson and Timmy Braden of Blackford; three sisters, Pauline McCormick of Clay, Emma Wingfield and Judy Dilback both of Henderson; one brother, Jamie Braden of Clay; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Ollie Gene Nichols, 81, of Paducah who lived in Providence for a short time, passed away at 5:20 pm on Tuesday, January, 27, 2015 at Baptist Health Paducah. 
Ollie was a member and Trustee of Providence General Baptist Church, and a former member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. He retired from General Tire in Mayfield. He was a United States Army Veteran, and he was the Chaplin for VFW Post 5484 in Providence.
Ollie is survived by his wife Phyllis Perryman Nichols; two daughters, Linda Lynn of Paducah, Tina Johnson and husband Michael of West Paducah; one son Rodney Nichols and wife Georgia of Kevil, two step- daughters, Gretta Legate, of Providence, Mindy Thomas and husband Brian of Providence; one step-son, Greg Legate and wife Melanie of Clay; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Jean Buchanan Nichols; one sister, Willadean Hammonds, of Ledbetter, KY, three brothers, Jessie Leon Nichols, of Hutchinson KS, Lawrence Lenton Nichols of Hutchinson KS, James Richard Nichols, of Dycusburg, and two grandsons, Michael Blake Johnson, and Brandon Lee Lynn. His parents were Jessie Allen Nichols and Laura Emma Bond Nichols.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Bobbie Mackey Puckett; two sons Kyle and his wife Jessica of Urbana, OH and Grant Puckett of Clay; his parents Kenny and Brenda Puckett of Clay; his Grandmother Henrietta Lewis of Clay; one sister, Kriste Villines and her husband Darren of Clay; one brother, Larry Puckett and his wife Desiree of Clay; two grandchildren Brayden and Aria Puckett; several nieces and nephews.

Gerald Franklin Felker, 78, of Wheatcroft,  passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Ridgewood Terrace in Madisonville.
He was retired from the United States Air Force.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Arlene Louise Felker of Wheatcroft; four daughters Trina Messamore and her husband John of Providence, Pamela Felker and her companion Gary Marks of Wheatcroft, Gereldine Felker of Wheatcroft, and April Lynn Shelton and her husband Robbie Sr. of Blackford; eight grandchildren J.T. Messamore, Angela Carter, Kreg Williams, Ray Williams, Kalie Marks, Chance Simms, Damien and Gabriella Shelton and 18 Great-grandchildren.

He was a coal miner at Island Creek Coal Co. for 23 years.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Williams; one son, Richard Bell of Princeton; two daughters, Sherry Bell Francis of Owensboro and Shirley Bell Sheridan of Louisville; one step-daughter, Tina Courtney of Henderson and one step-son, Tim Williams of Princeton; two brothers, Jimmy Martin of Cedar Lake, IN, and Bobby Martin of Dawson Springs; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Sebree First Christian Church, 76 St. Rt. 370 East, Sebree, with the Rev. Bill Anderson officiating.

Pat Hammack 65, of Providence, passed away Wednesday January 28, 2015 at her home.
She was a member and Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church in Clay, since the early 1980’s.
She worked for KY Delta Rural Project Specialist for 13 years.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years Ken Hammack;  three sons, James H. Davis and his wife Tisa of Danville, IN, Josh Hammack and his wife Robin of North Port, Florida and Ryan Hammack and his wife Cameron of Providence; five grandchildren, Kennedy Davis, Halle Hammack, Lyla Hammack, Adalyn Hammack, and Aubree Hammack.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Clay with Bro. Jeff McMain and Bro. James Taylor officiating with burial in Fraser-Blackwell Cemetery in Clay.  
Visitation was Friday, January 30, 2015 from 3:30-8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Clay and from 8 a.m. until service time at the church on Saturday.

Ruby Arflack Hill, 91, of Providence died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
She is survived by one son, Ronald B. Hill of Providence; one daughter, Linda Lee Vaughn of Clay; 13 grandchildren, two great-granddaughters and two great great-granchildren.
Services will be conducted Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Providence.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 4 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. 
Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery in Clay.
