Arnold Ray Duncan

Arnold Ray Duncan, 87, of Dixon died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 at home.

He was a farmer and attended Tilden General Baptist Church. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of the Austin Collins American Legion Post #243 in Sebree. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Welch and a grandson, Terry Michael Fulcher.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Duncan; two daughters, Linda Frederick of Dixon and Susan Knight of Providence; one son, Fred Duncan of Indianapolis, IN; one sister, Georgia Jones of Henderson; three grandchildren, Valerie Newell, Kelly Townsend and Aaron Forgy and two great-grandchildren, Hayden Guillerman and Madison Bucher. 

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday Sept.  4, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon with the Rev. Thornton Stanley and the Rev. Matt Moore officiating. 

Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole.
