Ronnie Cleat Braden


Ronnie Cleat Braden 71, of Clay, formerly of Providence, passed away Friday June 19, 2015 at Celebration Health near Orlando, FL.
He was born October 9, 1943 to William and Corrine Braden of Providence.
He was retired from the U.S. Army, while in the army he was involved in the Vietnam conflict and was a member of the Special Forces. He retired as Police Chief from the City of Providence. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years Marylou Braden of Clay; three daughters, Cathy Whitley of Melbourne, FL, Marjorie Arzie of Glen Saint Mary, FL., Marlana Khaleel of Grovetown, GA; two sons, Kemberle Braden of Fayetteville, N.C., and William Braden of Clay; two sisters, Lyndi Bryan and Chaun Castleberry both of Madisonville; 1 brother, Kemberle “Jeff” Braden of Jackson, TN.; 11 grandchildren Brook Arzie, Shea Arzie, Baylee Whitley, Christian “CJ” Braden, Kerstin Braden, Landon Braden, Lexie Braden, Lawson Braden, Kaylyn Braden, Alia Khaleel, and Janna Khaleel.
Memorial services will be conducted Friday June 26, 2015 7 p.m. at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Ronnie Cullen officiating and full military rites will also be conducted.
Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. until service time on Friday.
