George Alan Short

George Alan Short, 41, of Clay died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Short; two daughters, Amber Short and Charity Short both of Clay; one son, Dustin Short of Clay; his mother and step-father, Gloria and Randall McChesney of Madisonville; one sister, April Williams of Smith Grove; two brothers, Nathan McChesney of Providence and Johnathan McChesney of Clay; one step-brother, William “Bill” Short of Sacramento.

Services will conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 14, 2015 at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Mike Putman and Bro. Ronnie Gibson officiating.

Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay.

Visitation will beWednesday from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
