David “PeeWee” Nall

David “PeeWee” Nall
David “PeeWee” Nall, 64, of Providence, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Thursday, October 5, 1950, in Morganfield, Kentucky, the first son of Thomas L. and Mary H. (Fletcher) Nall. He was a 1968 graduate of Webster County High School and following graduation, enlisted in the US Air Force where he proudly served during the Vietnam War. David married Beth Hagan, in Seguin, Texas, on Saturday, July 10, 1971, while stationed at Bergstrom Air Force base out of Austin, Texas.
While David was baptized in the Methodist faith, he attended the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Providence. He worked at the P&M Colonial Mines in Madisonville, for 16 years and was also a heavy equipment operator at Big Rivers Electric Company Sebree Power Plant, retiring after 14 years of service. PeeWee was a member of the Jachin Masonic Lodge, the American Legion Post in Clay, where he served as adjutant for several years and VFW Post Men’s Auxiliary in Providence. David loved to make pickled eggs for the club to sell. He was an avid fisherman, bird and deer hunter. He enjoyed playing cards, drag racing, trading trucks and golfing. He was a friend to everyone, never meeting a stranger. Above all, David loved his family and spending time with them.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Beth, of 44 years; a son, Thomas L. and his wife Jinni Nall of Chattanooga, Tennessee; siblings, Dixie Williams, Bo (Renee) Nall and Rita (Mike) Cardwell of Clay, Ky., as well as many nieces and nephews.
