Rev. Bobby J. McClain 78 of Evansville, IN died at home on Monday May 12, 2014. 

He was a General Baptist Minister from 1965 until present at several churches in the Tri-state area. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Sarah, one son Dallas McClain and a great grandson Robert Plemmons. 

He is survived by two daughters Darlene Hamilton and Sarah Briggeman and her husband Steve both of Evansville, IN; one son Johney McClain of Evansville, IN; one sister Nellie Whitledge of Paducah, KY; one brother George McClain of Madisonville, KY; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday May 15, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon. 

Burial was in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon.
