Ruth Summers

Ruth Summers, 84, of Providence, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Providence 

She is survived by her husband, Towney Summer of Providence; one daughter, Sharon Gillahan of Ledbetter; one granddaughter, Shara Dale Metcalf of Madisonville; two great-grandaughters, Jessica Webster and Lacey Wyatt; four great great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2014 at Melton Funeral Home in Providence with Bro. Fred Harrison and Bro. Ralph Alexander officiating.  

Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery in Shady Grove.                           paid
