Virginia Daire Capps, 82, of Providence, KY, passed away in her sleep Monday, March 7, 2016.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William V.H. “Bill” Capps; her parents, Isom and Lillian Clevenger; brothers, L. J. “Chicken” Clevenger, Wilburn “Doughbelly” Clevenger; and sister, Edna Earl Hook.
She is survived by her son, William “Billy” Capps, of Petersburg, IN; daughters, Katherine Renee Capps of Providence, KY, and Debra Dee Lawson of Murray, KY; sisters, Opal Waide, Givannina Phillips, and Betty Stinnett; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Jones and Kirby Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, March 11, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Green Grove Cemetery.
